The NDIS offers financial assistance to eligible participants, who can use these services to avail of diverse support services that best meet their needs.
The NDIA manages NDIS, and to qualify for this scheme, you need to fulfil specific eligibility requirements. You must –
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa.
- Be under 65 years of age when applying for the scheme.
- Have a permanent or significant disability that impacts your ability to perform everyday tasks independently.
- You must have proof of your disability, like medical reports and assessments.
